“ Dear Mr. Songbird,

My neighbor and I have been feeding the birds for years and comparing notes on our sightings and other information. This fall I filled my many feeders and waited for the birds - and waited - and waited. Just an odd sparrow came.

Being very concerned about our environment and weather changes I foresaw a major catastrophe, so I called my neighbor.  I asked if she had any birds at her feeders.  She told me she had more than in past years and that they were having a feeding frenzy.

Now I was really puzzled and asked if she was doing anything different.  Then she told me that she was trying a new feed from Coppernoll’s Hardware called Songbird Deluxe Wild Bird Mix.

As winter became harsher, I had a few more birds but my feeder was obviously second choice.

Next time I purchase seed, I’m stocking up on your good stuff.
